Hey guys! I know so many of us are sweating with these heat waves. However, I wanted to share a few of my favorite fall must-haves. All I can say is color is everything! So whether you are heading to brunch on the weekends or (soon-to-be) heading to the bus stop. Here are a couple of my new favorite fall styles and colors.
Weekend style
When the weather starts to change a bit, but the sun is still warming up the air, the perfect material is cashmere. I basically live in cashmere when the East Coast weather starts to turn, as it tends to be the only material that keeps me warm. Plus, if you can find some good cashmere deals, it’s the type of material that will last for years. This J. Crew “Merci Beaucoup” sweater is everything (and currently on sale)!
First, the color labeled Flame Navy is a dream for fair-skinned women. It’s a color that really pops and looks great. Second, the lettering is navy and I suggest pairing that with a pair of navy shorts, like these (also on sale!). Pairing the cashmere with shorts is a great way to stay warm, but not get too hot. Lastly, throw on a pair of casual and comfortable Birkenstocks in Antique Lace and you are good to go.
The Perfect Rollneck Sweater
My second must-have is this trendy rollneck cropped cotton sweater from J. Crew. Yet again, J. Crew made the perfect color, heather pomegranate! This color looks great no matter what you pair it with. First, I paired this with a light colored jean, like these Paige jeans. I think the light jean really makes the sweater color pop. Second, I wanted an even brighter color for shoes and whether you are running errands or running to pick-up, these driving moccasins are perfect. They are comfortable, cute, and currently on sale!
Another option to wear the rollneck cropped cotton sweater is with a pair of leggings and some running shoes. I will live in this outfit when running to the bus stop or errands on the weekends. I couldn’t find the running shoes I’m wearing, but here is a comparable pair, currently on sale. I live in my Zella leggings and find them to hold up to washes and be the perfect fit.
A friend of mine also recently told me about some good deals at Abercrombie and Fitch. While I have never really shopped there, she was 100% right and I’ve ordered a few things that are currently being shipped to me. I might have more to share, should I like what I bought, coming soon!
